The MAN Lion’s City E takes the top spot for electric bus registrations in Europe for 2023.

The MAN Lion’s City E has now become a staple in the urban landscape of many cities. In 2023, 780 MAN electric buses were registered in Europe (EU27+3), giving the manufacturer the leading position in the European electric bus market with a market share of approximately 13.3%.

MAN also ranks number 1 in Germany, its main national market, with 245 Lion’s City E buses registered. The same applies in Sweden, Belgium, Austria, and Slovenia.
