The approval of a license for the Chinese manufacturer BYD to supply school buses has been confirmed in California.

The Achiever can seat up to 30 passengers and has a battery capacity of 141 kWh, while the Dreamer can accommodate up to 84 passengers and has a battery capacity of 230 kWh. BYD also plans to introduce a high-capacity school bus soon.
This electric school bus supply contract is limited to the borders of California. It does not guarantee any specific purchase amount and can only serve as a framework agreement for a maximum duration of two years, with the possibility of extending it three times for one-year periods.
