The Paris Marathon will take place this Sunday, April 2nd, connecting the most beautiful monuments of the capital. On this occasion, the RATP offers a fun map to follow the runners and discover beautiful places.
This is not a joke for April 1st, but a real good plan. RATP renews the idea of its fictitious metro line, the #Ligne42km, which connects the coolest viewpoints to visit the capital while supporting the athletes (and brave amateurs on Sunday). To do so, the #Ligne42km consists of 35 metro stations. And for those who do not have the time or patience to follow such a route, the RATP offers two distinct itineraries: Tourist and Spectator.
Tourist Route: Arc de Triomphe (start, Km at Franklin Roosevelt), Opéra Garnier (Km 4 at Palais Royal), Louvre Museum (Km 4 at Palais Royal), and Eiffel Tower (Km 31 at Trocadéro).
Spectator Route: Franklin Roosevelt (Km 0), Bastille (Km 7), Porte Dorée (Km 11), Concorde (Km 29), and Porte Daupihne (Km 42).
