Electric scooter: Piaggio launches a leasing offer at €58/month

To address the growing ban of gasoline engines in cities, Piaggio is launching a very affordable offer for its Primavera Electric.

Electric scooters remain expensive to purchase. And like cars, their technology evolves quickly. So much so that ownership is less and less relevant, not to mention the reliability risks.

Therefore, the idea of a Rental with Purchase Option (LOA) makes real sense. Luckily, Piaggio is back with an attractive offer centered around the Primavera Electric. Initially priced at 5199 euros, it is now offered starting from €58.05 per month over 36 months and 15,000 kilometers.

The first installment is simply increased to €900 after deducting the ecological bonus (€1475 without bonus). At the end of the lease, if the lessee exercises the purchase option (€2378.54), the total cost will have been €5885.30. That is a reasonable extra cost of €686.30, which corresponds to a typical bank interest rate. Except that here, the entire process is much easier.

What is the Piaggio Primavera Electric?

The Piaggio Primavera is the modern interpretation of the legendary Italian Vespa. Offered in various electric versions, its entry-level version called “45” makes sense, due to its maximum speed of 45 km/h. Now in the city, this is more than sufficient. If one seeks a more powerful electric scooter, then BMW and its CE04 are the options.

With its removable battery that charges easily at home or at work, as well as its reverse gear for effortless parking, the Primavera covers the essentials for smart movement — stylish and silent. Finally, especially in Paris, parking is (for now) free.
