With the new CUV e: equivalent to 125cc, Honda continues the development of its electric two-wheeler range in Europe.

The second zero-emission model offered by Honda after the EM1 e:, this scooter focuses on a pragmatic approach centered around the essentials. Nothing sensational, but in all aspects simplicity, efficiency, comprehensive equipment, and a reasonable price.

Under a sober and discreet body, far from the extravagant styles of some competitors like BMW and its CE range, the CUV e: hides a well-thought-out technical sheet. Its 6 kW motor, powered by two removable Honda Mobile Power Pack e: batteries, allows it to reach 80 km/h and display a range of about 70 km. Enough to cover most urban and suburban trips without constraint. The charging, possible on a household outlet via a dedicated charger, takes about 6 hours for a full charge and less than 3 hours to reach 75%.

Rational rather than exceptional

But it is especially in terms of price/equipment ratio that the CUV e: stands out. Priced at €3,999 in France (excluding ecological bonus), it is among the most accessible electric scooters equivalent to 125cc. Rental or leasing options are also being considered depending on the markets to facilitate access to electric mobility.

Despite its deliberately neutral style, the CUV e: does not compromise on equipment. It includes a flat floor, a USB-C port, keyless start, assisted reverse, and storage space under the seat. The instrumentation is provided by a 5-inch TFT screen, or a 7-inch in the “Connected” version, with navigation and connected functions via the RoadSync Duo interface. The chassis, simple yet effective, is based on a steel frame, telescopic fork, 12-inch wheels, and a combined braking system CBS.
