Triumph Trident Tiger Sport

With more power, a revamped style, and unchanged pricing, Triumph is making significant advancements to the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660.

Triumph unveils the 2026 versions of its Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660, two key models in its mid-range lineup. For this model year, the British manufacturer announces the most significant changes since their launch: a strengthened engine, optimized chassis, and modernized design, with no increase in price.

At the heart of these updates is a major evolution of the 660 cc three-cylinder engine. Now common to both bikes, it delivers 95 hp at 11,250 rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm, which is an increase of 14 hp. With a redline raised to 12,650 rpm and 80% of the torque available from 3,000 rpm, Triumph promises more lively performance while retaining great usability. Both models remain compatible with the A2 license through a restrictor kit.

Faithful to the “3-cylinder” Triumph spirit

These mechanical advancements come with notable technical modifications: the adoption of three 44 mm throttle bodies, a new front airbox, a reworked cylinder head, enhanced cooling, and a revised gearbox with recalibrated Triumph Shift Assist. The slip-assist clutch is also part of the equipment.

In terms of the chassis, the Trident 660 benefits from a new frame and improved Showa rear suspension, reinforcing its positioning as a sporty and agile roadster. The Tiger Sport 660, oriented toward Adventure Sport-Touring, maintains its balance between dynamism and comfort, with Showa suspension offering greater travel and an ergonomic design aimed at long journeys, including riding two-up.

The style also evolves. The Trident features a more muscular fairing and new color options, while the Tiger Sport receives a new fairing design and a fuel tank increased to 18.6 liters, improving its range. Both models benefit from comprehensive technological equipment: riding modes, six-axis IMU, cornering-optimized ABS and traction control, cruise control, and MyTriumph connectivity.

Despite these developments, Triumph maintains its prices: €8,695 for the Trident 660 and €9,995 for the Tiger Sport 660. Their arrival in dealerships is planned for March 2026.
