Electric motorcycles can also attract attention, and this will likely be the case with this concept, the EyeLights Rocket One. It is developed by the Toulouse-based startup EyeLights. Its founder, Romain Duflot, first showcased a prototype at EICMA 2023. This was accompanied by a motorcycle helmet equipped with the Eyeride system. A heads-up display system similar to those used by fighter pilots.

It’s no surprise to see the design of the bike and the originality of the helmet, knowing that Romain Duflot is passionate about motorcycles and fighter jets. In any case, his concept caught the eye of Energica. This electric motorcycle manufacturer was convinced and decided to turn the dream into reality. The final version of the prototype was presented at EICMA 2024.

What performance does the EyeLights Rocket One offer?

The EyeLights Rocket One is impressive in terms of performance. The bike can reach 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and has a range of 400 kilometers. This does not compromise its ability to ensure the safety of its rider, notably thanks to sensors that assist driving, such as a blind-spot detection system.

The helmet also plays a key role in assisting the rider. It detects other vehicles and nearby obstacles. It also displays information directly on the visor, such as speed, time, range, temperature, etc. However, this means the motorcycle does not have a dashboard. Well, you can’t have everything.

Regarding the price, you will need to spend at least 100,000 euros to get this jewel. It will not be mass-produced, and reservations are necessary to purchase one. As a consolation, the helmet will be available independently of the Rocket One.
