Toyota Hilux

Toyota presents the ninth generation of its Hilux pickup, an iconic model with over 27 million units sold worldwide since its launch.

This new version of the Hilux marks a significant evolution in both design and onboard technologies, while maintaining the robustness and versatility that have contributed to its reputation.

The new Hilux will be offered exclusively in Double Cab body style and with four-wheel drive. It adopts a completely renewed style inspired by the “Tough x Agile” concept, featuring a redesigned front end, new optical blocks, and a modernized silhouette while keeping dimensions close to those of the previous generation.

The interior has also been completely redesigned. Inspired by that of the Toyota Land Cruiser, it integrates a more comfort- and connectivity-oriented environment. Depending on the versions, the driver has access to a 12.3-inch multimedia screen and a digital instrument cluster of the same size. The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems are offered across the entire lineup.

Each to Their Own Engine!

Toyota’s multi-technology strategy is reflected in its engine offerings. The Hilux Hybrid 48V combines a 2.8-liter Diesel engine with 204 hp and a mild hybrid system designed to enhance driving pleasure and efficiency. This version retains a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons and a payload exceeding one ton.

The main novelty, however, is the arrival of the first 100% electric Hilux. Equipped with two electric motors developing a combined power of 196 hp, it features a 59.2 kWh lithium-ion battery and claims up to 257 km of range in the WLTP mixed cycle. Toyota also announces the arrival of a hydrogen fuel cell version by 2028.
