New Electric Range Rover and Jaguar Models in 2025

Jaguar and Range Rover, the two flagship brands of the Indian group Tata Motors, are ramping up with the arrival of new 100% electric models in less than two years.

Highly sought after in the United States and the Middle East, Jaguar and Land Rover productions still lag behind in electrification. But with strong demand for 100% electric drivetrains, the two manufacturers have decided to accelerate their efforts in this field.

This is why Jaguar Land Rover will invest no less than 17 million euros in electric models over the next five years, notably in the development of new technical platforms and specialized factories.

The current Halewood and Wolverhampton factories will undergo a major transformation. Out with internal combustion engines and in with electric motors. The specifications explain this accelerated pace, as Jaguar plans to produce only plug-in models starting in 2025, while the first Range Rover electric, equivalent to the current Velar, will be launched the same year. This electric Velar will feature the new EMA 800-volt platform capable of handling high torque values.  

A future electric Jaguar GT

Another electric platform is under development, specifically for Jaguar. A future 4-door electric GT is being considered and will be produced at the Solihull plant. Estimates suggest it could cover up to 700 km in WLTP mode. Its price? Nearly 115,000 €. The first deliveries are also planned for 2025.
