Leapmotor, It’s as Simple as ABCD!

Leapmotor confirms its position as an electrified gem of the Stellantis group with a spectacular commercial debut.

As competition intensifies in the electrified vehicle market, Leapmotor is smiling from ear to ear. The young Chinese brand has just confirmed, backed by figures, its impressive performance in the first quarter of 2026.

In March 2026, Leapmotor delivered 50,029 vehicles (including domestic sales and exports), a remarkable increase of 34.87% compared to March 2025. In the entire first quarter, 110,155 units rolled off the production lines, up 25.82% year-on-year. This solid performance allows the brand to claim the crown of number 1 among Chinese start-ups in new energy vehicles.

A range in four letters

This success largely relies on the “ABCD” range (A05, B05, C10, D09) that continues to attract customers due to its excellent value for money and modern technologies. But Leapmotor is not stopping there.

The company is clearly ramping up with no less than four new models planned for 2026: the A10 (which will be called B03X internationally), the D19, the A05, and the D99. These four new models are expected to represent about 60% of the brand’s annual sales by the end of the year.

The schedule is already quite packed:

• The D19, the brand’s future flagship SUV, will be officially unveiled on April 16.
• On April 24, at the Beijing Auto Show, Leapmotor will present the “ultra” version of the compact Lafa 5 (B05 in global naming), developed with the support of Stellantis’ European engineering teams.
