The New Renault Symbioz in Photos and Video

Renault unveils an attractive Symbioz Hybrid designed for families. The return of the “living car”?

The Renault Symbioz aims to strengthen the brand’s presence in the compact segment, positioning itself between Captur and Austral. Measuring 4.41 meters long, this new model complements the E-Tech “hybrid” lineup already featuring Arkana (4.57 m) and Austral (4.51 m), in addition to the E-Tech “electric” branch with Mégane and Scenic E-Tech electric.

Emphasis is placed on spaciousness with a trunk volume up to 624 liters, unprecedented given its compact length and further enhanced by a sliding bench seat of 16 cm and a flat rear floor.

Symbioz incorporates some of Renault’s latest technologies. It features the OpenR Link multimedia system with integrated Google services and a Solarbay opaque panoramic roof. In its Iconic version, it is equipped with 29 latest-generation driver assistance systems.

Symbioz stays under the 1,500 kg mark and benefits from the E-Tech hybrid 145 engine for perfectly controlled consumption and emissions, thanks to a simple and effective in-house technology that has continuously improved since its launch in 2020.

At this stage, Renault presents us with a simple, well-designed, modular, and livable vehicle without being mundane. A unique hybrid powertrain and three trim levels — Techno, Iconic, and Alpine — at launch to avoid confusing consumers. Renault’s proven formulas seem well incorporated into this model, with a very balanced approach. Now, we await the price.
