The New Weapon of the Los Angeles Sheriff Reaches 320 Km/h!

We recently introduced UP.FIT, an American company specializing in preparing Teslas for law enforcement, which developed a patrol Cybertruck. UP.FIT leveraged its extensive experience to transform a Cybertruck into an impressive peacekeeping weapon… and a deterrent! The platform of the fully electric pickup truck has, according to the company, set new standards in terms of safety, efficiency, and innovation. The combination of a stainless steel exoskeleton, crossing capabilities combined with true sporting predispositions, and advanced technologies proved to be a godsend when imagining this vehicle. Although fully operational, this Cybertruck remains a concept illustrating the company’s expertise, but the Tesla Model S Plaid showcased at SEMA 2024 is very real!

The “UP. FIT Plaid Pursuit” incorporates a series of modifications enhancing its high-speed pursuit and city patrol capabilities. This first vehicle is about to be delivered to the Los Angeles County Sheriff and marks a milestone in the adoption of electric vehicles by law enforcement agencies.

The car retains its 1,000 horsepower and is still capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 2 seconds before exceeding 300 km/h. With a range of 600 km and top-tier fast charging capabilities, it is an excellent patrol tool. More importantly, what a fantastic communication tool for the Police! How many children will tug on their parents’ sleeves when they see this shiny vehicle pass by, telling them that someday they want to be police officers and drive a big car like the Sheriff?
