MG France opens orders for the new MGS6 EV. This 100% electric SUV adds to the manufacturer’s range in a higher segment, focusing on space, equipment, and performance. Priced from €44,990, it is distributed across the 197 MG sales points in the territory.
The MGS6 EV is based on a 77 kWh battery and is available in two versions. The first, called Luxury, features rear-wheel drive. It delivers 244 hp (180 kW) and claims a combined WLTP range of 530 kilometers. Its entry price is set at €44,990.
The second version, MGS6 EV Luxury Dual Motor, has all-wheel drive thanks to two electric motors. The combined power reaches 361 hp (266 kW), with a 0 to 100 km/h time claimed at 5.1 seconds. This version boasts a combined WLTP range of 485 kilometers and a price of €47,990. In both cases, fast charging allows the battery to go from 10% to 80% in 38 minutes at a compatible public charger.
MG develops its platform
The MGS6 EV becomes the fourth model of the brand to be based on the MSP (Modular Scalable Platform), already used notably by the MG4 EV. This modular architecture aims to optimize space while ensuring balanced road behavior.
In terms of equipment, all versions include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central display dedicated to infotainment. A head-up display with augmented reality navigation is also available. The equipment features heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, as well as an 11-speaker audio system. Options include gray or beige faux leather upholstery with suede-effect inserts.
Like the entire MG electric range, the MGS6 EV has received five stars in the Euro NCAP safety tests.
