Crass Stupidity: A Tesla Cybertruck Transformed into a Halo Warthog

Well, there is still some work to be done before the Cybertruck is ready to face the Covenants, but Elon Musk likes it.

The Tesla Cybertruck has now become an endless source of inspiration for all the most twisted and warlike minds in the world. Elon Musk wanted a vehicle with a post-apocalyptic style, and he got it. Just a few days after Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov appeared on social media in a video driving a Cybertruck equipped with a heavy-caliber machine gun, here comes the Halo version. The concept is the same: take a Cybertruck, throw a big cannon in the bed, and play it like John Rambo. It’s a kind of silly competition of masculinity that the electric pickup doesn’t really benefit from.

At least in this latest initiative, the vehicle is put to the service of a hero, Spartan John-117. This genetically modified human is part of the Spartan program and fights evil alongside his artificial intelligence sidekick, Cortana. Should we rejoice when it’s a YouTuber rather than someone accused of crimes against humanity? Everyone will have their opinion, but Elon Musk seems to appreciate it as he praised the initiative on his home social media platform X (formerly Twitter). It’s funny, when Kadyrov thanked him for the vehicle ready to head to the front in Ukraine, he didn’t react…

On our side, you won’t blame us for relaying the information, but it’s more to highlight the absurdity of this approach in an already troubled world where some shaken individuals just don’t need to add more chaos. The day an influencer transforms an electric car into a first aid vehicle at their own expense, you can be sure we will be the first to praise the initiative, but we’re still looking for that. One thing is certain, the Cybertruck does not benefit from this.
