AUDI Chine

AUDI, without the four-ring logo but written in four uppercase letters, signals both the connection and the difference with its sister brand.

Based in China and tailored for the Chinese market, vehicles intended for this highly competitive and specific market must represent the best of both worlds: Audi’s DNA and Chinese innovation. The AUDI E concept perfectly demonstrates how a car can exceed Chinese users’ expectations.

As the first premium car brand to enter the Chinese market in 1988, Audi was a pioneer. Now launching its new AUDI brand in cooperation with the state-owned automotive group SAIC, which also owns MG, the company is taking steps to elevate itself to the next level. The AUDI E concept car was developed jointly by experts from Germany and China. It provides a preview of three upcoming production models set to launch from mid-2025.

With a length of 4,870 mm, a width of 1,990 mm, a height of 1,460 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, the AUDI E concept positions itself as a 100% electric Sportback. Two electric motors, located on the front and rear axles, deliver a total power of 570 kW and 800 Nm. Coupled with the iconic Quattro all-wheel-drive system, they enable acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. The concept car is equipped with a 100 kWh battery providing a range of 700 km under the CLTC standard, roughly around 600 km under the European WLTP standard. The advanced digital platform also benefits from an innovative 800-volt architecture with ultra-fast charging: just 10 minutes of rapid charging is enough for over 370 km of range, making recharging as quick and convenient as fueling a conventional car.
