Alpine will unveil its new A290, its future 100% electric sporty city car, for the world premiere at 12:30 in Le Mans.

Alpine is about to write a new chapter in its history with the launch of the A290, the brand’s first small electric sports car. The choice of the A290 reflects Alpine’s overall naming strategy, with names starting with the letter “A”, followed by three digits. The digit “2” corresponds to the B segment, and the number “90” refers to the brand’s future “lifestyle” range.

Alpine has managed to keep the secret about the technical specifications of its electric little sports car. The presentation of various prototypes has only confirmed the dimensions of the small French car, with a length of 3,990 mm, a width of 1,820 mm, a height of 1,520 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,530 mm.
