Renault Twingo Electric at €12,420: Who Can Benefit from This Price?

Renault lists its Twingo E-Tech starting at €12,420, after a deduction of €7,070 from the Coup de Pouce subsidy. The offer applies to orders placed between November 2 and 30, 2026, at participating dealerships.

A Twingo at €19,490 before subsidies

The first essential point: the pre-subsidy price remains €19,490. The highlighted amount is therefore based on a maximum subsidy, the allocation of which depends on the household income. Not all buyers will be able to leave with a bill of €12,420.

To compare this offer with another car, it is better to request a quote that distinguishes between the vehicle price, options, and the subsidy actually granted. This precaution allows for a real measurement of the gap with a competing thermal or electric city car.

Rapid charging deserves your attention

Another element to consider in the budget: charging possibilities. Renault’s pricing grid mentions an “advanced charge” package at €500, combining an alternative charger of 11 kW and rapid charging of 50 kW. An expense to examine based on travel and the charging stations used.

Renault also offers a rental starting at €99 per month. However, it requires an initial payment of €1,000, after deducting the maximum subsidy, followed by 36 monthly payments: totaling €4,564 for 37 months and 30,000 km, excluding any potential fees.

The best reflex is therefore to compare total expenses. An attractive price makes sense when it aligns with the buyer’s budget and real needs.
