TV Schedule for the 2026 Barcelona F1 Grand Prix

Join us in Barcelona from June 12 to 14 for the seventh round of the 2026 F1 season.

For over thirty years, Barcelona has been one of the major stops of F1. Since its debut on the calendar in 1991, the Circuit of Catalonia has witnessed the triumphs of the biggest names in the sport, from Michael Schumacher to Fernando Alonso, as well as Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. However, the 2026 edition marks a symbolic change: for the first time, the Catalan event no longer carries the name Grand Prix of Spain, which is now reserved for the new event in Madrid scheduled for September.

This seventh round of the season comes a week after the Monaco Grand Prix, won by Kimi Antonelli. The young Mercedes driver continues an exceptional championship start with a fifth consecutive victory, allowing him to strengthen his lead in the overall standings significantly.

Who can stop Kimi?

Behind him, the battle for the podium places continues. Thanks to his second place in the Principality, Lewis Hamilton has reclaimed the runner-up position in the championship at the expense of his teammate George Russell. However, both men are significantly behind Antonelli, trailing by over 60 points, as his dominance begins to weigh heavily on the title race.

The Spanish audience will closely follow the performances of Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz. The former finally opened his account by finishing tenth in Monaco, also providing his team with its first points of the season. The latter is coming off a frustrating race after being taken out by Nico Hülkenberg while he seemed set to finish in the points.

The French drivers will also arrive with confidence after their strong performance in Monaco. Led by Isack Hadjar, a brilliant third, they all finished in the points, a first since the Belgian Grand Prix in 2018.
