TV Schedule for the 2026 Barcelona F1 Grand Prix

Meet us in Barcelona from June 12 to June 14 for the seventh round of the 2026 F1 season.

For over thirty years, Barcelona has been one of the major events in F1. Since its arrival on the calendar in 1991, the Circuit de Catalunya has seen the triumph of the greatest names in the sport, from Michael Schumacher to Fernando Alonso, including Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. However, the 2026 edition marks a symbolic change: for the first time, the Catalan event will no longer bear the name Grand Prix of Spain, which is now reserved for the new event in Madrid scheduled for September.

This seventh round of the season comes one week after the Monaco Grand Prix, won by Kimi Antonelli. The young Mercedes driver continues his exceptional start to the championship with a fifth consecutive victory, significantly solidifying his position as the overall leader.

Who can stop Kimi?

Behind him, the battle for the prestigious positions continues. With his second place in the Principality, Lewis Hamilton has reclaimed the runner-up spot in the championship at the expense of his teammate George Russell. However, the two men have a significant gap of over 60 points behind Antonelli, whose dominance is starting to weigh heavily on the title race.

The Spanish public will closely follow the performances of Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz. The former has finally opened his account by finishing tenth in Monaco, also giving his team its first points of the season. The latter remains frustrated after being taken out by Nico Hülkenberg when he seemed poised to finish in the points.

The French drivers will also arrive with confidence after their strong performance in Monaco. Led by Isack Hadjar, who finished an impressive third, all three finished in the points, marking the first time since the Belgian Grand Prix in 2018.
