Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid: The Most Powerful Ever Produced

For the first time, the Land Cruiser 300 adopts a hybrid engine that combines power with intact off-road capabilities.

Toyota expands the Land Cruiser legend with the 300 Performance Hybrid, the first electrified model of the series. It combines a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor in a parallel hybrid configuration, delivering 457 DIN hp and 790 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Land Cruiser in its history. The throttle response is improved by 40% compared to the previous 3.3-liter engine while maintaining the off-road capabilities that have earned it worldwide recognition.

The hybrid system allows for 100% electric driving at low speeds, up to 30 km/h, with a smooth transition between the thermal and electric motors. The motor-generator, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a nickel-metal hydride battery, optimizes power and torque for linear and responsive performance. An electric power steering system complements the setup, enhancing precision and control on all types of terrain.

More Land Cruiser than ever

Tested in extreme conditions, the Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid retains its water fording capability of up to 700 mm thanks to the waterproofing of its battery housing.

The model will be offered in three trims: VX, ZX, and GR SPORT, all with five seats. The VX combines comfort and technology, featuring 18-inch wheels, an electric tailgate, sequential LED headlights, and a 12.3-inch multimedia system with JBL sound and 14 speakers. The ZX adds adaptive suspension, an aerodynamic kit, and a heads-up display. The GR SPORT, inspired by Toyota Gazoo Racing, stands out with its unique bumpers, 18-inch wheels, and e-KDSS system for better wheel contact on rough terrain.
