Visite Paris Vélotour

On July 3rd, Vélotour organized a unique tour of Paris, before heading to other stages in France.

Like many people this summer, you might be planning to visit the capital? Whether it’s the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, or the Champs-Élysées, Paris is full of must-see places. But to do something original or for those rediscovering the city, there is a solution without using public transport.

A bike tour of Paris

Vélotour has been organizing a bike tour route for the 6th year. This event takes place on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022, in the western parts of Paris.

The tour consists of an 12-kilometer loop between Boulogne-Billancourt and the Bois de Boulogne. For the occasion, Paris opens three major sites to the public—and especially to bicycles. Curious visitors can explore the Parc des Princes, home of the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) football club. They will also discover another sports venue, Roland-Garros, which recently hosted the 121st edition of the prestigious tennis tournament.

Finally, cyclists can admire La Seine Musicale, a cultural building inaugurated in 2017 on Île Seguin. This is only possible by taking the optional 8 km loop (for a total of 20 km).

Several departure times are available, between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., from the Saint-Cloud lawn (Avenue de l’Hippodrome, 16th arrondissement). The prices for Vélotour Paris visits range from 10 to 20 euros for adults, and free to 10 euros for children under 12. Find all the information and tickets on the official website.

Visits across France

Before Paris, on June 26th, it was the turn of Orléans and Le Havre to host their Vélotour 2022. The Norman city opened 13 sites for the occasion and organized several activities such as archery.
