Car Sharing: Shaary Now Offers Subscription Plans

On their three car-sharing services in Marseille, Nice, and Strasbourg, Shaary offers the possibility to subscribe to memberships for frequent users.

In Marseille, you probably see curious electric cars parked or on the streets. They are called Estrima Biro, and are part of Shaary’s car-sharing which opened in 2022. This service has expanded its network with the XEV Yoyo in Nice, then in Strasbourg via Dacia Spring. To attract users of this more sustainable mobility solution, Shaary now offers subscriptions.

Three subscriptions from €9.90 to €39.90/month

The first subscription is the “Mini Abo” at €9.90/month, which allows a 30% reduction in trip costs. Shaary considers it interesting for around 5 trips. The second is the “Maxi Abo” at a monthly fee of €19.90, offering half-price rides, advantageous between 5 and 15 trips. Lastly, the third offer is “Mega Abo” at €39.90/month, to reduce the cost of using Shaary by 75%. This is recommended for more than 15 trips per month.

Nevertheless, the unlocking fee of €1.50 is not included or reduced in these subscriptions. Be aware also that subscriptions automatically renew each month, but they are without commitment. As a reminder, the cost of a Shaary car in car-sharing ranges from €0.32 to €0.35/min, or €15 to €17/hour, with a maximum of €30 per day.

How to subscribe to Shaary offers?

To subscribe to one of the three car-sharing plans, simply go through the Shaary app. In the “My account” section, scroll down to “My subscriptions” then “modify.” All you have to do is choose between Mini, Maxi, or Mega Abo. Please note that the subscription is valid only for one city, either Marseille, Nice, or Strasbourg.

Shaary also offers other packages in the form of minutes bundles, with progressive discounts:

• 35 minutes for 30 purchased (+16%)
• 60 minutes for 50 purchased (+20%)
• 100 minutes for 80 purchased (+25%)
