5 electric cars available for lease under €200/month
This page is translated from the original post "5 voitures électriques en LLD sous 200 €/mois" in French.

In a context of steadily rising prices, we have selected and detailed five electric cars available for long-term rental at less than 200 euros per month.
Car prices are skyrocketing everywhere, well, maybe not because Tesla is going against the trend. But elsewhere, this pushes customers to prefer leasing over financing, as it is more flexible and especially less financially burdensome. But for its next electric car, what to choose among the many current offers? Mobiwisy has selected five models for less than 200 euros per month.
Fiat 500e: Long-term rental from €129/month

It’s not at all the cheapest electric car on the market, but it is the most affordable here for long-term rental. The Fiat 500 offers a special deal at the beginning of 2023 with a monthly rent of only €129, which seems quite incredible. However, there are no exceptional conditions; the contract is standard for 37 months with a mileage limit of 30,000 km.
The initial deposit of €10,000 is also average, roughly €5,000 including bonus (or €3,000 if you can take advantage of the €7,000 bonus). And no eco-friendly conversion bonus is deducted here. As for the model, it’s the version with a small 24 kWh battery, in sedan body style with basic trim, offering less than 200 km of range. It’s limited, but sufficient for short daily trips.
Dacia Spring: Long-term rental from €159/month
The most affordable car to buy is certainly the Dacia Spring, but it also ranks high in long-term rental. For a similar 37-month, 30,000 km contract, its rent is €159, but with a lower deposit of €7,500. The specifications, however, are less attractive on paper: 44 horsepower, minimalist equipment… However, its range is higher than Fiat’s, at 230 km per charge.

Renault Twingo E-Tech: Long-term rental from €176/month

It’s starting to get a bit dated, with a design approaching 10 years, but the Renault Twingo remains in the catalog. The brand will keep its small car until the upcoming R4 in 2025, and especially its electric version, launched in 2020. It offers the best price in the E-Tech range, here at €171 per month in long-term rental.
Not bad for a car with a good response despite 60 kW to the rear wheels, but the range is barely adequate with 180 km theoretical. The initial deposit is reasonable to reach this price, at €9,500 excluding the ecological bonus.
Hyundai Kona 39 kWh: Long-term rental from €199/month
Before its replacement, the Hyundai Kona remains a good deal at the start of 2023. Furthermore, the upcoming model is unlikely to have a small 39 kWh battery version like this one, which could seriously increase the price. If you were counting on this compact model, now is the time because the €199/month won’t last long, in our opinion. This offer applies for a standard 37-month/30,000 km contract, but the deposit is significant: €13,770, with no aid included. Nevertheless, this model stands out from the previous three by its range (285 km) and better power (136 hp).

Jeep Avenger: Long-term rental from €199/month

It delivers its very first models and celebrates its title of Car of the Year 2023. And its price is also in the spotlight, the Jeep Avenger bringing its leasing offer to less than €200 per month. Only, this is for the base version – and not the First Edition series – with a fixed 24-month contract and a hefty deposit of €13,500 excluding bonus. So be careful with the brand’s communication regarding €4,000 deposit, including the maximum bonus and the scrappage incentive.
If you want maximum range, this model is the one to choose. It boasts 400 km via the new battery introduced with the DS3 E-Tense and soon the Peugeot e-208 & other Opel Astra-e.
