Bourget 2023: eVTOLs at the Bourget Air Show

The 2023 edition of the Bourget Air Show has opened its doors for its 54th edition. There is an exhibition called Paris Air Mobility, where eVTOLs from all around the world are present.

It’s the event of the year for new mobility solutions. An exhibition called Paris Air Mobility will allow you to observe the mobility of tomorrow, with the eVTOLs.

A grandiose exhibition

The Bourget Air Show has done everything necessary to highlight the eVTOL exhibition. 1,000 square meters will be dedicated to showcasing the different models on display. A new mode of transportation that will be honored at the world’s largest aerospace and space trade show. A way for visitors to see what they can expect during their next trips, with new means of transportation.

Who will be exhibitors?

Among the exhibitors, you will find EHang, a Chinese manufacturer, with its autonomous model EH216-S.

But also L’ATEA, from the French manufacturer Ascendance Flight Technologies. An eVTOL with hybrid propulsion.

Also present will be Volocopter, Lillium, and AutoFlight from German manufacturers. Archer Aviation and Joby Aviation from the USA, and Eve Air Mobility from Brazil.

Patrick Daher, general commissioner of the Bourget Air Show, expressed his delight at the presence of future means of transportation in a statement, but remains aware that there is still much work to be done. “The technologies are ready, the first flight tests are successful, the revolution of daily aerial mobility could be tomorrow. So will the ‘cars’ fly in the skies of tomorrow’s cities like in science fiction movies? We are almost there, but many challenges remain, and this event will help us see more clearly.”
