TGV SNCF

The French railway operator announced several weeks ago that TGV tickets starting from 29 euros are now on sale. They are now available on the SNCF website.

It is possible to go on vacation with ticket prices lower than usual. The TGV and Intercités offers range from €29 to €49, allowing you to travel at reduced prices until August 31, 2023. However, to take advantage of these deals, you must book your tickets by Tuesday, August 1st, at 11:59 PM.

What are the available destinations?

Many cities are accessible with this offer. Three deals are listed, each with different destinations. For the €29 tickets, the cities include Lille, Nancy, and Paris. For at least €10 more, the cities of Lyon, La Rochelle, Strasbourg, and Grenoble are served. Finally, for the last offer at €49, the city of Marseille is the only winner.

How to access discounted tickets?

The offer is available on the sncf-connect website. There is a “Flash Sale 48h” tab displayed at the top of the screen. Simply enter your chosen destination, and check on which days tickets are the most affordable. Tickets sell out very quickly, and you have until August 1st at midnight to take advantage. Note that the luckiest among you might get the chance to enjoy first class for just 1 euro more.

This is not the only offer available this summer

Several weeks ago, the Minister Delegate for Transport, Clément Beaune, announced 200,000 tickets at €19 for intercity journeys. That offer sold 100,000 tickets in the first month. It is still available on the French operator’s website until stocks run out or until August 31.
