SNCF sales are now open: plan your trips and take advantage of the best prices for your train journeys this winter.

Since this Wednesday, travelers can book their TGV INOUI, INTERCITÉS, and TER train tickets for the period from January 8 to March 29, 2026. This opening marks the start of the winter season for the SNCF network, with routes covering both major national lines and European destinations (Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, or Spain).

The goal is clear: to allow users to anticipate their trips and benefit from the most advantageous prices, as fares increase as the departure date approaches. Tickets are also exchangeable or refundable free of charge up to 7 days before departure, an important point for those who want to maintain flexibility in their travel plans.

This sales opening coincides with the preparation for winter holidays, scheduled between February 7 and March 9, 2026, according to school zones:

• Zone A: from February 7 to 23, 2026
• Zone B: from February 14 to March 2, 2026
• Zone C: from February 21 to March 9, 2026

Trips to ski resorts – Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Moûtiers, Grenoble, or Briançon – are expected to be among the most demanded, as well as those to the major French and European tourist cities.

At the same time, OUIGO has also opened its sales until July 3, 2026, allowing travelers to plan their spring and summer trips now at a lower cost.
