Segway C2, the scooter to ride like the grown-ups

With the Ninebot C2 electric scooter, Segway offers a fantastic toy for active children and teenagers… and very lucky ones!

The Segway Ninebot C2 features a sturdy 130W brushless motor that provides children with enough power to reach a limited speed of 16 km/h over a distance of up to 11 km. To ensure parents’ peace of mind and give children a non-traumatic riding experience, the C2 adopts 7-inch hollow structure tires that are 1.6 inches wide. These tires are puncture-proof and maintenance-free, offering better shock absorption than solid tires. The C2 is equipped with a drum mechanical brake, with a handle designed with a small grip suitable for children’s little hands.

After this serious technical review, let’s take a quick look at this small machine. Available in two colors, blue and orange, the C2 features a 256-color RGB lighting system under the deck, with lighting that changes rhythm with the speed. It adds a bit of a Fast and Furious vibe that will surely impress when coming out of school.

The scooter features three modes to adapt the riding experience to the environment:

• Standard Mode: The perfect mode for beginners or smaller kids, with a maximum speed of 12 km/h, easier to control.
• Sport Mode: With a maximum speed of up to 16 km/h, Sport mode is for experienced riders seeking higher speeds and thrills thanks to the accelerator.
• Assistance Mode: No need to use the accelerator; the operation returns to normal but with electric assistance for long, comfortable rides without cramps.

Thanks to its one-step folding mechanism, it can be quickly stored in the car trunk for family outings or kept at home after a fun ride with friends.
