Xiaomi offers a great discount on its lightweight urban scooter Scooter 3 Lite, which drops below 350 euros.

A benchmark in the mid-range segment, lightweight and efficient, the Xiaomi Scooter 3 Lite benefits from a nice rebate to extend its successful run. Could the Indian summer be a sign that it’s time to switch to gentle mobility?

Powerful motor but limited range

The Scooter 3 Lite is limited to the legal maximum of 25 km/h but primarily promises to maintain a speed of 15 km/h on slopes of 14%. You won’t find a more accessible scooter in Paris unless you follow in Amélie Poulain’s footsteps in Montmartre, so it’s more than sufficient to avoid having to kick off with your foot.

The 187 Wh capacity battery is the main weakness of this model but promises 20 km of range at a constant 15 km/h. That’s reasonably credible for everyday use.

A compact Xiaomi for city commuting

With a lightweight design of 13 kg and a folded size of (1104 × 429 × 484 mm), you can easily wedge it into a corner of the metro or intercity train. A good tool for the last mile.

The simplified T-shaped handlebar gives the scooter a minimalist and lightweight style, with the traditional small info screen integrated. The front lighting has also been moved to the lower part to lighten the upper section and free up space for the classic info screen. No frills, just essentials. It comes in two trendy and modern colors, black or white with red accents. A mudguard has been added to the wheel for a vintage yet elegant look.

It’s neither the most powerful nor the most enduring scooter on the market, but this well-designed little machine is a pleasure, especially for those who have only known free-floating casual scooters. At 349.00 euros, it’s a good deal not to be overlooked.
