The new Mercedes EQA and EQB priced at €46,950 are eligible for the bonus

Developed for the French market, the Mercedes EQA and EQB 250+ Edition are back with a facelift and unchanged prices.

It is probably, to date, the most serious competitor to the Tesla Model Y. Its prestigious badge, build quality, and excellent pricing, combined with a top-tier after-sales service (always a challenge for Tesla, though this aspect is quickly improving), make Mercedes a strong contender in the electric SUV market. One of its major advantages also lies in the trunk: a third row of seats for 2 people, allowing up to 7 passengers!

The quintessential family model, the Mercedes EQB, in its 250+ Edition trim eligible for a 5,000 euro bonus in France, features a very appealing technical sheet. The power is limited to a sufficient level of 190 hp (140 kW) to prevent the driver from instinctively pressing the accelerator. Consequently, the combined cycle consumption is certified at 15.8 kWh/100 km.

With a large 70.5 kWh usable battery, the official range would be 516 km, or even 662 km in city driving. Assuming a more reasonable consumption of 18 kWh, the Mercedes EQB 2024 will still offer about 400 km of real-world range. An excellent figure that surpasses that of a Tesla Model Y Propulsion at the same price.

Indeed, Tesla is better in charging speed, which is still limited to 100 kW on this trim and 11 kW in AC charging.

Regarding metallic paint options, the choice is extensive: White, black, dark gray, light gray, silver, and blue. The high-sided rims ensure a superb ride comfort. Their diameter is 18 inches. The windows are tinted from the factory on the rear sections.
