Rodin FZERO, the New Zealand madness
This page is translated from the original post "Rodin FZERO, le délire néo-zélandais" in French.

The Rodin Hypercar has taken its first laps in New Zealand. A car that serves no purpose, which is what makes it so charming!
The FZERO concept was revealed for the first time last year, and the hypercar designed and built in New Zealand has now entered its testing and development phase. With its retro lines, it looks straight out of Fous du Volant!

The FZERO project was designed and developed in the ultra-modern Rodin Cars complex near Mount Lyford in the south of New Zealand. The facility includes three private testing circuits and a high-tech production unit. Behind Rodin Cars, and this custom V10 biturbo FZERO, is a man, David Dicker, a billionaire and car enthusiast. He personally took charge of the car’s refinement process.
This single-seater hypercar with a closed cockpit promises insane performance levels, aiming to challenge the latest creations from Aston Martin, Gordon Murray Automotive, and Mercedes-AMG. The main goal of the FZERO is to deliver an unparalleled driving experience, harnessing the raw emotion of speed and performance.

The FZERO is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V10 engine. This engine develops 1013 hp (755 kW) at 9500 rpm. An atmospheric version is currently under development. The only figure released to date is a top speed of 360 km/h.
Although there’s little chance of seeing this car on the road, it doesn’t comply with any sporting regulations, isn’t a Zero Emission or even a sustainable concept,… in short, it’s impressive, quite pretty, but serves strictly no other purpose than to delight on a track. And that’s already enough.
