The Italian brand organized a 100% women-only event behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Urus S, from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah.
#SHEdrivesalambo has made its way to the Middle East and saw a group of women engaged in a road trip from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah. Behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Urus S, the Super SUV from Sant’Agata, the guests traveled over 400 kilometers, reached the highest peak in the United Arab Emirates, and stayed in a protected area of the Al Wadi desert.
The two days of gathering provided the guests with a 360-degree exploration of the brand. The informational sessions started with a workshop on Lamborghini’s avant-garde principles, which break stereotypes, and on how the brand faces evolving challenges and looks to the future. A workshop from Centro Stile, Lamborghini’s design department, explored one of the brand’s globally renowned topics: the nearly infinite possibilities of customizing colors and trims through the Ad Personam program.
Desert Lambo
The road trip began in Dubai, heading east on a spectacular route to Jebel Jais, where the guests dined at Puro 1484, the highest restaurant in the United Arab Emirates. Named after its elevation above sea level, 1,484 meters, the restaurant offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the highest peak in the UAE, Jebel Jais, and its surreal mountain scenery. The final 100 kilometers of the trip took place in the Al Wadi desert for off-road driving, with guests staying in a natural reserve where a traditional Arab dinner was served in the heart of the desert.
The Urus S is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with increased power of 666 horsepower, offering a power-to-weight ratio of 3.3 kg/HP. The acceleration pushes the Urus S from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 305 km/h.
The #SHEdrivesalambo project was launched in 2023 in America and has expanded to other markets worldwide, aiming to promote Automobili Lamborghini’s messages on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
