Peugeot Continues with the I-Cockpit Path

The new Panoramic i-Cockpit is introduced for the first time by Peugeot on the new E-3008 electric.

The Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit, launched on the new Peugeot E-3008, combines two essential elements, the head-up display and the central touchscreen. This large 21-inch HD screen extends from the far left of the dashboard to above the center console. This panoramic screen dominates the dashboard, an effect enhanced by the LED mood lighting with its source located beneath the screen.

Positioned for optimal ergonomics, this 21-inch panoramic screen is slightly curved towards the driver, while remaining perfectly accessible to the passenger. This layout optimizes accessibility and visibility of the displayed information. The central part of the dashboard features i-Toggles, customizable buttons that allow quick access to ten user-preferred functions. On the left side of the screen, the instrument cluster above the steering wheel displays all driving-related information. On the right side is the touchscreen, which can be used to control heating/air conditioning systems, navigation, media, and connectivity. The central console is streamlined to increase space for storage and for the front passenger, who benefits from a generously open and particularly comfortable space.

The spacious architecture is made possible by relocating the automatic gear shift on the dashboard. This control is now positioned to the right of the compact steering wheel, just beside the stop/start button of Peugeot.
