Less than 20,000 euros for a new 7-seater car

You know all the good things we think about the Jogger which, without any promotion, remains under 20,000 euros.

The Dacia Jogger goes against current automotive trends. Electric launches are succeeding one after another but, for the most part, these models are only aimed at the mid or high-end market. Dacia now offers a budget-friendly plug-in vehicle with its small Spring, but in terms of space and features, it is aimed at small-distance drivers.

More comfortable and more spacious, a petrol-powered Sandero maintains a remarkable value-for-money ratio, but when you really need a family car, it’s hard to settle for a city car.

Common sense according to Dacia

This is where the new seven-seater Dacia Jogger comes into play. Built on the same platform as the Sandero, this fairly modern crossover-styled vehicle is a hybrid of an SUV and a station wagon. It replaces the quickly forgotten and unattractive Lodgy. In 4.55 meters long, it offers an impressively comprehensive equipment level. In the Essential base trim, the absence of a touchscreen onboard computer is still regretted, but the phone support is exceptionally well designed and with current devices, it is sufficient for navigation through Bluetooth. Citroën made this choice for the ë-C3 electric, demonstrating good sense. The Jogger provides, as it is, the same user comfort as a typical family SUV.

Passengers in the second row will not complain about the ride thanks to a spacious and just firm rear bench. As for the two third-row passengers, they can also travel in decent conditions, though no miracles are expected. The very large 708-liter trunk of the Jogger is naturally minimized with the additional two seats in place, but in 4.5 meters, this is logical. The Jogger is not a minivan, but a remarkably well-thought-out and developed family vehicle, and that is why we love it.

In any case, it would be very hard to criticize the Dacia Jogger considering its price list starting at 19,400 euros in LPG or petrol. The Extreme version at 22,400 euros remains, in our opinion, the best choice with a rugged look, a screen, automatic climate control, and rearview camera, but you can spend less to already get a very satisfactory product.
