Fisker in talks with four manufacturers for its acquisition

In a sense, the information released directly by the American manufacturer is not to be taken negatively: discussions are ongoing for its acquisition. And not with one or two manufacturers, but four. This is proof of a certain level of interest.

It must be said that the most difficult part of a car’s life lies in its design and then its industrialization. Two stages that have already been carried out and financed by Fisker, which today is on the brink of bankruptcy.

A low-cost acquisition?

In March, discussions initiated with Nissan fell through, the Japanese manufacturer likely having in mind to wait for bankruptcy to acquire Fisker for a symbolic dollar. But since then, other major predators have also caught the scent of blood and have approached the prey.

Fisker will have no choice but to be acquired. Whole or in part? For what amount? The American manufacturer is trying to drive up the bids, aware that its products are of excellent quality. However, launching a brand requires billions of dollars and time. Two elements that Fisker lacks.

In the end, one can think that Fisker will be saved and absorbed by a large group or an investment fund (from the Middle East?). This is already a good thing.
