The e:Ny1 is a nice fully electric SUV featuring a 68 kWh battery with a range of 412 km and 204 horsepower at your disposal. It comes equipped with all the necessary driver assistance features, the famed ADAS, and impeccable finishing typical of Honda. It’s good, but not great, so to compete with Teslas that offer over 600 km of range, it simply needs to be cheaper. Unfortunately, this is where the problem lies. Our Honda SUV is 10,000 euros more expensive on the catalog price!

Historic Discount

We will never know how, but Honda seems to have finally become aware of the situation! The fully electric SUV now has a promotional price starting at 34,900 euros for the high-end Advance version, previously offered at 47,700 euros. A discount of 12,800 euros all at once is almost unheard of! We don’t know what drove Honda to cause such a shock, but we’re betting it’s more like a bullet ant.

And it doesn’t stop there, as a slightly less equipped Executive version is also available in limited quantities with a discounted price of 32,900 euros.

This changes the game, as at this price, competition becomes sparse. Instead of an exotic Chinese vehicle built by a brand without a network in France, you have a Japanese vehicle with impeccable finishing and the safety net of Honda’s network, universally recognized as one of the most effective in the world. We will have to get used to seeing more and more Honda e:Ny1s on the road. As for remembering its name, no amount of money can help…
