An intelligent model, if not entirely revolutionary. Here’s what makes the Dacia Jogger successful.

Comfortable and spacious, a Dacia Sandero with petrol engine remains almost unbeatable in terms of value for money, but when you really need a family car, it’s hard to settle for a city car. The Jogger goes against the current trends in the automotive industry and that is what makes it interesting!

Inventive Frugality

Built on the same platform as the Sandero, the Jogger is a hybrid of SUV and estate car with a rather modern crossover style. It replaces the quickly forgettable and unattractive Lodgy. In 4.55 meters of length, there is a remarkably comprehensive level of equipment. In the entry-level Essential, we will naturally miss the absence of a touch screen dashboard, but the phone holder is remarkably well designed, and with current devices, it’s sufficient for navigation thanks to the Bluetooth system. Citroën made this choice for the ë-C3 electric, which is a sensible decision. The Jogger offers the same level of user comfort as a classic family SUV.

Passengers in the second row won’t complain about the journey thanks to a spacious and just-firm-enough rear bench. As for the two passengers in the third row, they can also travel in decent conditions, although one shouldn’t expect any miracles. The very large trunk of the Jogger at 708 liters does indeed reduce to the bare minimum with the two extra seats in place, but in 4.5 meters, that’s logical. The Jogger isn’t a minivan; it is a remarkably well-conceived and crafted family car, and that’s why we love it.

In any case, it would be hard to criticize the Dacia Jogger when looking at its pricing starting at 19,800 euros for the GPL or Petrol engine. The Extreme version at 22,900 euros remains, in our opinion, the best choice with an adventurous look, a screen, automatic air conditioning, and a rearview camera, but you can spend less and still get a very satisfying product.
