Promotions: Renault Austral approaches €30,000

As the summer holidays approach and the need to sometimes renew your car arises, Renault is active in discounting its best-seller Austral.

Launched in 2022 and the best-selling SUV in France in 2023, overtaking the Peugeot 3008, the Renault Austral is popular. However, it is particularly favored in its high-end trims, less so in the lower catalog options.

This may explain why the largest discounts currently applied to the replacement for the very unattractive Kadjar are on the least expensive models. On average, the discount conventionally agreed upon within the network is around 3000 euros, with a delivery time of just 3 weeks. Proof that there is an abundance… and therefore a need to clear inventory for dealers.

Always cheaper?

It is now possible to find, in certain Renault dealerships, Austral in Équilibre mild hybrid advanced 130 trim for 31,200 euros. An ultra-competitive price, but one that can be explained by the rising internal competition from the new Scenic electric vehicle. Thanks to the ecological bonus of 4000 euros, the latter can now be purchased for 35,990 euros.

A small word of caution, however: the examples involved in these massive discounts are 2023 models, which means they are already registered and held by dealerships wanting to “get rid of” them (an important detail to consider when negotiating). Since then, the 2024 model of the Renault Austral has evolved slightly, particularly in terms of equipment, but nothing too drastic.
