With this mode, you can set and maintain an ideal cabin temperature for your animal’s comfort when you are forced to leave them alone in the car for a short time.

With a simple touch of an icon, you can leave with peace of mind, while the screen displays a reassuring message for those who might be intrigued or even horrified by the sight of a dog alone in the car. The air conditioning system then maintains a perfect temperature until you turn the ignition on or manually disable it. If the battery charge level becomes too low, the Tesla mobile app sends you repeated notifications reminding you to check on what you left in your car.

In addition to controlling the ambient heat, this mode disables all controls, including electric windows and pedals, to prevent any false manipulation. It would be a shame if Fido, Ora, Rex, Rumba, or Mirza tried to make a run for it.

However, nothing guarantees the absence of bites on the beautiful cushioned seats or little accidents due to frustration… It’s still best not to leave your dog alone.
