475 Hours to Customize This Lamborghini

This Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica is a unique creation, as its name suggests, inspired by the shores of Sardinia.

Three distinct shades of blue are combined using Lamborghini’s expertise in brush and spatula techniques to create special effects reserved for this Opera Unica. Inspired by the crystalline seas of Sardinia, the bubbles of water, the waves, and the deep blue of aquatic caves, the darker and lighter shades of blue are applied to different surfaces of the Revuelto, with sharp definitions between the various hues highlighting the intriguing shapes and lines of the car.

In addition to the standard production time of a Lamborghini Revuelto, which is measured in days rather than seconds, the exterior paint effects required an additional 475 hours of specialized craftsmanship. This Opera Unica was achieved by meticulously masking the car’s body to create a canvas for the paintwork. The localized two-tone and three-tone shades were then enhanced by brush painting, reminiscent of the waves crashing against the Sardinian cliffs. Special coating techniques were employed to customize details such as the Start/Stop button cover and the personalization plate. The finishing of the interior embroidery alone took 85 hours to produce a watery stitching effect dedicated to this Opera Unica.

Revuelto is the first hybrid Lamborghini equipped with a V12 HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). It sets a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness, and driving pleasure based on its new architecture. A power of 1,015 horsepower is produced by the combined effort of an all-new combustion engine and three electric motors, along with a dual-clutch transmission. Ultimately, it achieves an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of over 350 km/h. These figures combine with exceptional dynamism thanks to the introduction of electric torque vectoring, and its four-wheel drive is also available in fully electric driving mode. It truly deserves an exceptional outfit.
