Pricing and technical specifications of the new Dacia Spring
One engine, two trims, two base prices, and that’s it. At Dacia, the buying process is simplified, and it works.
The new Spring benefits from Dacia’s design introduced with the latest generation of the Duster. A robust and assertive style that gives the Spring a much-needed refresh. Launched in 2021, the Dacia Spring has already sold over 140,000 units since its European launch. In 2023, it is the 3rd electric vehicle sold to individuals in Europe. With nearly 30,000 units sold, the Spring has topped the list of the most sold electric vehicles to individuals in the French market.

However, the model that was so innovative at its launch has become completely outdated three years later, making this update urgent. Without altering the technical platform, it’s not easy, but the designers at Renault Group have more than a few tricks up their sleeves.
Why make it complicated when you can make it Dacia
So there’s this style that already sounds more contemporary, but the shape logically doesn’t change, even though Dacia claims to have kept only the roof… Not very serious, as the overall appearance is harmonious and quite quality-oriented, but this might not be enough against a Citroën ë-C3 or a BYD Seagull, to name a few. The transformation is thankfully more pronounced inside, where all elements have been revamped. It’s truly a new car.

At launch price, the new Dacia Spring is available in the Expression 65 hp version starting from 18,900 euros, and the Extreme 65 hp version starting from 19,900 euros.
Right from the Expression trim level, the Spring is equipped with a 7” digital dashboard, 15” wheels, manual air conditioning, and power windows at the front. This version also offers Media Control, a multimedia system controllable from the steering wheel, displaying media information and phone calls on the digital dashboard. It also includes two speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB port.

The first trim level, Essential, and the 45 hp engine will not yet be offered in France, and that’s a good thing! The 65 hp / 48 kW engine is now the sole option offered from the Expression trim. A robust mechanic that isn’t particularly fast, with a 0 to 100 km/h time of 14 seconds. But that’s not what you expect from a city car, even less from a Dacia.
Weighing 984 kg in the upper Extreme trim, the new Spring is the only 100% electric car in Europe to stay under a ton. For comparable trims, the weight of the car has only increased by 6 kg (or + 0.6%) compared to the previous version, despite the numerous new driver assistance systems mandated by regulations and the enhancement of finish and standard equipment. This weight performance, combined with the efficiency of the new Spring’s engine, allows it to deliver excellent energy consumption, under 14.6 kWh/100 km.
