The Kia Sportage is honored to launch, in a series of short formats, the second season of the hit Korean series Squid Game.

A series of promotional videos introduces the new Kia Sportage into the universe of Netflix’s successful series “Squid Game.” A collaborative campaign that must have been costly for the brand, but what’s more natural than supporting each other as Koreans?

Following the teaser video released on November 7th, Kia presented the first episode of the series which announces the upcoming launch of season 2 of Squid Game. The next episode will be revealed in early December.

This series of films places the Sportage in the very particular universe of Squid Game. Don’t expect high cinema; each episode gradually reveals features of the new Sportage, such as the signature Star Map lighting, the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit infotainment system, and the heads-up display. But everything from the universe is there, including the famous guards in red suits and masks, and the game fortress.

Kia also organized a pop-up exhibition titled “The New Sportage x Squid Game: Season 2” at Kia Unplugged Ground in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, where visitors can participate in games inspired by the series.
