Radior Simurgh

Behind this somewhat obscure title lies the latest creation of the French bicycle manufacturer Radior.

Radior, an iconic bike brand based in Bourg-en-Bresse, continues its reinvention since its relaunch in 2021. After a year 2024 marked by its 120th anniversary, accolades, and prestigious visibility at the Élysée Palace, the brand kicks off 2025 full throttle with the launch of the Simurgh.

Resulting from a partnership between Radior and Botch Cargo Bikes, the Simurgh represents the union of French craftsmanship. Made of steel, this evolving two-strap cargo bike stands out for its durability and commitment to decarbonized mobility. Inspired by the Phen’X model, it retains values of simplicity and minimal maintenance, while offering a lifetime warranty for the frame.

This bike meets various needs:

  • For families: a tray equipped with a 3-point harness and a canopy for safe transport of children.
  • For professionals: a sturdy platform or a customized box for transporting goods.

The Simurgh will be available starting at €6,490 for the platform version, with additional options for family and professional configurations.

The development of the Simurgh is part of an upcycling approach, while promoting local production. Equipped with a 130 Nm Valeo motor and an integrated automatic transmission, it offers up to 80 km of range.

The Simurgh will be showcased from February 13 to 16, 2025, at the Two-Wheelers Show in Lyon (Hall 3, stand 32B012). A more accessible new model will be unveiled in April at Vélo in Paris, continuing Radior’s mission to make “Made in France” bicycles affordable for everyone.

With these initiatives, Radior affirms its ambition to innovate while remaining true to its local and eco-friendly roots.
