Genesis unveils two jewelry pieces in Seoul

At the Seoul Mobility Show 2025, Genesis made a big impression with its X Gran Coupé and X Gran Cabriolet concepts.

Alongside the unveiling of the GMR-001 Hypercar, which will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2026, Genesis revealed two exceptional concepts: the X Gran Coupé and the X Gran Cabriolet. Derived from the luxurious G90, these models explore a new facet of refinement through a decidedly artistic inspiration and, it must be said, delightfully European.

The X Gran Coupé draws inspiration from the Mediterranean olive tree, a symbol of peace and longevity, to impart a natural elegance to the interior. Microperforated olive wood, mats decorated with organic motifs, tanned leather using wastewater from Italian olive oil: Genesis here calls upon the nobility of materials while promoting a certain idea of sustainable luxury.

As for the X Gran Cabriolet, it pays homage to the refined world of wine, with a hue reminiscent of freshly pressed grapes and an interior in deep tones of Cabernet Sauvignon, cultivated on the clay lands of Livorno. Crystal details, present in both models, evoke craftsmanship’s purity and add a touch of luminous poetry to the interior experience.

Genesis is not afraid to combine sport and luxury

And while Genesis, Hyundai’s premium division, is a Korean brand focused on the future, it also shows here that it can draw from Europe’s heritage. Yes, between Mediterranean olive trees and Italian grapevines, these two concept cars playfully remind us that Europe continues to inspire the greatest names in automotive design. As they say, on our old continent, not everything is done badly…

The exterior design does not disappoint: sleek silhouettes, sculpted hoods, the iconic “Two-Line” headlights, bold relief wheels… every detail asserts a subtle balance between power and sophistication.
