CUPRA lowers the price of the Born

CUPRA launches a new version of its 100% electric compact car with a German accent, the Born One.

This trim has been designed by CUPRA to make the model more accessible, bringing it under the €40,000 mark with a starting price of €37,390, and reviving a model that is starting to feel dated. It is also offered for €359 per month on a long-term lease over 37 months and 30,000 km with a first increased payment of €8,345, excluding the ecological bonus of €4,000 for which it is eligible.

The CUPRA Born One is equipped with a 59 kWh battery, providing a maximum range of 428 km according to the WLTP cycle. It produces 204 horsepower. It allows for fast charging up to 165 kW in direct current, enabling a charge from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes. For alternating current, charging goes up to 11 kW.

CUPRA is not lacking in equipment

In terms of equipment, this version includes as standard: full LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, seats made from recycled Seaqual textile, rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated steering wheel, and adaptive cruise control. A 5-year or 100,000 km warranty is also included.

Two option packs are offered:

Techno Pack: alarm, induction charger, tinted rear windows, keyless entry.

Pilot L Pack: driving assistance (Travel Assist), 360° camera, Park Assist with memory, rear traffic alerts, and blind spot monitoring.

The CUPRA Born One is available in five colors: Geyser Silver, Nevada White, Midnight Black, Misty Gray, and Aurora Blue.

If you are not familiar with this model, the Born shares its technical base with the Volkswagen ID.3. Both models are built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, designed for 100% electric vehicles. This platform ensures strictly similar performance in terms of battery, range, and charging. The CUPRA Born stands out mainly through its design, driving settings, and more dynamic positioning.
