The Volkswagen Multivan now offers eight seats for 59,900 euros

Volkswagen continues to evolve the Multivan, heir to the famous Combi, making it even more practical and versatile today.

A new version with six individual seats in the back complements the seven-seat offering of the Multivan, ensuring optimal comfort. This unique configuration is available starting at 59,900 euros.

Available in all trims, this version is equipped with a turbo diesel engine (TDI). It caters both to large families and professionals. Volkswagen indeed offers a specific variant for passenger transport with a driver.

In this eight-seat version, the Multivan offers two rows of three seats in the back. All seats are individual, removable, and modular, allowing for easy adaptation according to needs. The vehicle maintains a large interior space, even with eight passengers on board. There are still 763 liters of cargo volume, convenient for luggage or professional equipment.

The rear seats are equipped with integrated three-point seat belts. Foldable armrests are also available depending on the trim. At the front, both the driver and passenger benefit from two armrests each for improved comfort.

Diesel as the sole offering

With a length of 5.17 meters (thanks to an extended rear overhang), the Multivan gains space without sacrificing maneuverability. It is offered in “Life” or “Style” trims. Unfortunately, the plug-in hybrid version (eHybrid) remains available only in the seven-seat configuration, and only the TDI engine allows for the option of eight seats.

The 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DSG) is included as standard. With this new configuration, the Multivan confirms its place among the most versatile vehicles on the market.
