The Honda of the Future Unveiled at Goodwood
This page is translated from the original post "La Honda du futur dévoilée à Goodwood" in French.

This weekend, Honda took advantage of the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed to unveil its new small electric city car.
Presented a few weeks ago by Honda as the “Super EV” concept, this well-developed study foreshadows the successor to the Honda e. According to our colleagues at CarScoops, it will be named “N-ONE e:” in its production version.
This compact model from segment A, with its clearly retro look, recalls the lines of some Japanese kei-cars like the Nissan Cube. The charm is evident at first glance with its expressive round LED headlights, short hood, bulging fenders, and upright windshield. Honda is here playing the charming style card while not sacrificing modernity, as evidenced by the completely closed grille, discreetly integrating a charging port.
And it is precisely this detail that intrigues. A second socket seems to be hidden on the right side of the vehicle, in addition to the one clearly visible on the left. What could it be for? Honda remains silent on the question. Bidirectional charging? Powering external accessories? The brand keeps the mystery alive, fueling curiosity about this small model.
Honda wants to combine reason and pleasure
Described as a “fun to drive” car, which needs no translation, and true to Honda’s practical spirit, this model promises to blend driving pleasure with urban agility. The manufacturer specifies that feasibility tests have already been conducted in the UK as part of an international development program. The final version is expected to be unveiled next September, likely at the IAA Mobility show in Munich.
In addition to this electric city car, Honda took the opportunity at Goodwood to present the new iteration of the legendary Prelude on the famous festival hill climb. A demonstration of eclecticism and electric ambitions at all levels.
