Toyota is coming off two consecutive quadruples in Kenya, a performance that the Japanese team will not be able to replicate this weekend as only three GT Yaris Rally1 are entered, with the duo Elfyn Evans – Takamoto Katsuta complemented by Kalle Rovanperä.
Winner in Sweden in February for his first appearance of the year, Esapekka Lappi has once again received the trust of Hyundai, which decided to keep him for a second rally in a row. Struggling upon his return to the South Korean firm, Ott Tänak will try to get back on track. Finally, Thierry Neuville will want to continue his good momentum, having won Monte-Carlo at the start of the season and currently leading the championship.
