In 2026, the traditional parade of the 24 Hours of Le Mans cars in the city center accelerates.
On Saturday, June 6, starting at 3 PM, the Hypercars, LMP2, and LMGT3 participating in the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take over the streets of Le Mans on a brand new urban circuit. Three laps, twelve spectator zones, and nearly thirty cars are expected for this grand free show in the heart of Le Mans.
A new course for the 24 Hours of Le Mans city parade
The Automobile Club de l’Ouest and the City of Le Mans have completely rethought the urban parade that traditionally kicks off the week of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For this fourth edition, the course has been expanded with a new layout allowing for more spectacle for the public.
The start will be from Paderborn Avenue. The cars will complete three laps in the city, compared to two in previous editions, before heading to the closed park set up at Place des Jacobins. For nearly an hour, downtown Le Mans will transform into a real urban circuit with Hypercars, LMP2 prototypes, and GT3.
