Grid and TV schedule for the 2026 British F1 Sprint

Meet us this Saturday, July 4 at 1:00 PM for the Sprint race of the 2026 British Grand Prix in F1.

The British public will have plenty to cheer about this Saturday. In front of a crowd supporting him, Lewis Hamilton secured pole position for the Sprint race of the British Grand Prix, the ninth round of the Formula 1 World Championship. The seven-time world champion set the fastest lap in the Sprint qualifying and will start at the front on a circuit where he has often excelled.

Alongside him on the front row will be Kimi Antonelli. The young Mercedes driver once again confirms his speed on a lap and will try to put the pressure on Hamilton from the start. The second row will feature two usual contenders for the top spots with Max Verstappen, third in his Red Bull, and Charles Leclerc, fourth in the second Ferrari.

George Russell completes a strong formation in fifth position ahead of reigning world champion Lando Norris. Oscar Piastri will start from seventh place, just in front of Isack Hadjar. The Racing Bulls of Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad round out the top 10.

Among the French drivers, Pierre Gasly will start from eleventh position and aims to move up to score points, which are reserved for the top eight finishers in the Sprint race. Just behind him will be Gabriel Bortoleto, Nico Hülkenberg, Franco Colapinto, Carlos Sainz, and Alexander Albon.

The Haas, Cadillac, and Aston Martin teams will fill the last rows of the grid. On a fast circuit like Silverstone, where overtaking is possible thanks to long straights and DRS zones, this 100-kilometer Sprint race could already change the dynamics before the Grand Prix qualifying scheduled later in the day.
