EuroNASCAR and European Energy in the Lead on Renewable Energy in Motorsports

Team FJ, founder and organizer of the European NASCAR Championship, and European Energy are embarking on a virtuous collaboration.

The aim of this partnership is to explore and use renewable energy solutions within the sporting framework of the NASCAR Euro Series, the European version of the most popular motorsport competition in the United States, NASCAR. The agreement will focus on the introduction of renewable methanol to fuel the cars used in the championship. The partnership also aims to expand the use of renewable energies to further decarbonize the facilities, operations, and value chain of NASCAR Europe.

This collaboration is part of a broader sustainability strategy implemented by NASCAR Europe to reduce the carbon footprint of motorsports and establish new standards for greener racing. By leveraging European Energy’s expertise in green fuel production, the NASCAR Euro Series aligns with global efforts to combat climate change.
