Rouen residents invited to carpool
For those who have no choice but to use their vehicle, the Seine-Maritime Prefecture requests that they reduce their speed by 20 km/h on the two-by-two-lane road network. More generally, drivers are encouraged to adopt smoother driving styles and to practice carpooling. As a reminder, the government has implemented a €100 bonus for those starting to share their vehicle with other travelers. The bonus is paid in two installments on the chosen carpooling platform. The first €25 payment is made no later than 3 months after the first carpool trip. The remaining amount is paid no later than 3 months after the 10th trip.
